The Mannequin is a first-person narrative horror game which blends terror with tragedy. Only you can uncover the truth about what really happened in this time lost London home, even as reality shifts around you and a malevolent entity – the silent, dead-eyed Mannequin – pursues you at every turn.
Development of The Mannequin is currently on hold.
The demo on this page was featured at Insomnia 58 and EGX and was created around May 2016.

The game had an interesting proposal, even if it didn't continue, it had a base of history that could be developed, just the atmosphere that really didn't scare, they had a good proposal for the game but they didn't continue
Gameplay PT-BR
Even though it's a years old project, the graphics/style still holds up.
Things that need work are the pacing and the way some Events are executed, they often happen to abruptly and thus go into more of a funny way instead of being scary. The neck twist and falling down for example.
It is also not really obvious what's important to look at and what's not, and why some things are interactable and others are not (that would also save some work). But telling the Story through Flashbacks and the Mannequins is not new, but it does work, if it's going to be more fleshed out and all the W's are going to be answered.
The atmosphere is good but the cuts to the cozy rooms are fast aswell, it goes from mildly scary, to not scary at all, neckcrack next scene and so on.
So that's a point that would need a lot of work, if you go ahead and try to make it a full release. In terms of Puzzles it's alright, full version could be more complex, more ways for the Players to make errors, instead of changing one thing (color-coded puzzles, different objects to attach etc.) or just click the use button.

It ain't about the graphics. It's about the game.
Very fun though I feel that the nice music in the office and in the living room kinda took away some of the ''spook factor'', it just made it seem cozy rather than scary. Although the mannequins are all very creepy, the child one the most of all obviously (though I sort of broke her arm when putting her together in the start, so uhh there's definitely a bug there that can happen)

An intriguing story with really good atmosphere.
Tense and atmospheric experience with startling moments that work really well. The visual style is unique and artistic, well done.

Such a spooky game, and of course had to be mannequins
Just thought it was going to be a spooky mannequin game, but it was so much more! The atmosphere and environment were scary right away and that was well done. The story that develops after the player starts piecing things together was actually pretty neat and well done too! It got really interesting towards the end.
The contrast between the coloured rooms and time travelled times and the present and gloomy time and parts of the house was great and added a depth to the game and even made it clear that something supernatural was going on in the game itself.
The only things I would suggest would be to make the dialogues a little slower (thought they were a little fast, but that just might be me) and making the assembly of the mannequin a little spookier; maybe make the player hunt for them in the attic room for a second and add in some spooks as they do.
Overall though, it's a well made game and cannot wait for more as the story did get pretty interesting and the stuff in the house as well!
